We have visited this campground for three consecutive summers now. It’s always super-hot and muggy and in the triple digits. No complaints; we can deal with heat and humidity.
This year, after the massive rains we in the west have received, the lake was full of water instead of being just a pissy puddle.
We got set up and then the weather started to do its wild-thing.
After the weird “storm,” the sky turned red. I took this as a good sign, as in, “Red sky at night, sailor’s delight.”
After the “rain,” the temperature cooled down a couple of degrees, but it was still in the 90s all night long, so we ran the A/C.
In the morning, we packed up and moved on down the line. We had one more stop — in California — before getting home!
I wish you excellent health, well-being, and life-affirming creativity!💖
You stay at some really cool campgrounds (even in the heat)!
Some great pictures of God’s splendor. Well done on your part. I love great pictures, they capture a place in time.
