Ah, don't worry about the pledging and $$ and stuff. I'm just glad to connect with you.
By the way, the Harmony Headlands hike is Ahhhhh-mazingly beautiful. But there are some great hikes inland close to me, too. Love Santa Margarita Lake, which recently went from 11% capacity to 119%, flooding out the marina store in 7-feet deep muddy water. They'll be renovating for a while. And, we're expecting more rain late next week.
Trying to decide if a jaunt through the PNW is on our annual summer RV trip to visit friends/family in the Midwest, or if we have to plan for a separate trip altogether.
Nice to know that you are a musician, and also, it's not surprising. Creative people tend to question "authority"!💖
If you decide to head up my way, I'd love to have you for coffee and my famous scones or chocolate cake-- or both! It's GORGEOUS here, they call it "God's Country." Now, fill it with dogs, and I'd agree with that... lol
Sorry for the marina store folks. I miss CA, lived there a long time. I don't know where I'll end up, but I want it to be where I can look at something beautiful at least frequently!
Thank you for the invitation! And yes, I imagine that the scenery is stunningly pretty. We don't have dogs, yet, but we've always dreamed of being owned by a French Bulldog, or a mini Pomeranian! I suppose you have plenty of dogs to go around, haha.
Be sure to let me know if you travel to or through Central California along the 101, we are close. We have an espresso machine! And I'm a chef, so there's that!
I am critter-jonesin'! Not one buddy, not even a goldfish. Waaaaaah!!! Nobody can believe it, and maybe that's why I'm so rabid about dogs...
I'm a chef, too, and primarily a baker! You make dinner, I'll make Chocolate Cake to Die For! ;)
I think I'll re-name it, though: Chocolate Cake to LIVE For!
I love the looks of CA, down to maybe Monterrey... I'm not a fan of the southern end and have barely ever even been down there-- 25 years in SF and Alameda (4). I miss it, but it's crazier than Seattle now...
Oh, my dog, that is BEAUTIFUL!!!
I am near Puget Sound, but I have to go a LONG way to walk on a beach... I miss the ocean.
And I'm a musician, too, although I've gotten soft fingers now... guitarist... But a vocalist, too.
Pleased to meet you, I like the post, will return. Sorry I can't pledge anything for now. xo
